High Pressure Stainless Steel Manways Available from Blue Diamond

Ideal for applications where hygiene is of paramount importance, Memtech Hygienic Manways feature smooth surfaces and flush joints, leaving nowhere for dirt to accumulate, contamination to occur or bacteria to grow. The Manways have many applications in the food and beverage, dairy, water treatment, pharmaceutical, biotech and cosmetics industries.

As the exclusive distributor for Manway manufacturer OPA in the UK, Blue Diamond is able to supply a range of popular styles and sizes from stock and can also assist with the design and manufacture of special units to meet individual requirements.

The Manway range includes standard atmospheric Manways for the top of tanks and vessels. There are rectangular, oval and round styles from small porthole to very large access. There is also a complete range for hygienic applications which feature closure by lever/arm or bolts and hinge.

For high pressure applications, the ‘Generic’ high pressure Manway is available in sizes from ND150 to ND600 (ND=Nominal Diameter) and a design pressure of up to 20 bar. There is also the ‘Pharma Concept’ high pressure Manway in sizes from ND200 to ND500 and design pressure up to 10 bar. Completing the line up are high pressure portholes in sizes from ND200 to ND1200.

Memtech high pressure manways can be supplied in a range of materials with a choice of seal options including EPDM, silicone, natural rubber and Viton. Memtech manways can be supplied with inward or outward opening access with hand wheels providing a secure and easy ‘no tools required’ opening. A complete range of accessories is available including sight glasses, luminaires, wipers, vacuum and pressure relief valves and safety grids.
