Elscint high speed vibratory feeder for thin parts

In case of very thin parts, the tendency is to override one on top of the other, which results in jamming of the washers and additionally it is difficult to segregate two washers in case they come together. A regular “wiper” does not work in such a case. However, Elscint has designed a special type of feeder bowl which helps to eliminate this problem completely. It is a special design where the “wiper” itself is made redundant by providing a special track designed by Elscint. This ensures that the overriding components fall back into the bowl. This eliminates the possibility of jamming due to the overriding of the thin components. This track is made in stainless steel with a very high accuracy. High speeds too are possible for such parts.

Additionally, as with all Elscint parts feeders, an overflow arrangement is provided which helps in eliminating the need of a separate auto-switch off mechanism.
