Placed in the centre of the UK with an excellent motorway and airport availability, recently extended to include Doncaster Robin Hood airport, the region is ideally placed.
400 regional attractions generates more than 14 million visitors per year and 25% of British families anticipate a holiday in the region in the near future.
A strong manufacturing base makes the region one of the largest contributors to the economy and output is expected to grow more than 12% over the next eight to ten years.
A growing population, some of the best retail shopping in areas like Leeds and Meadowhall, Sheffield and continued good levels of investment makes the future look positive.
At a time when too many gloomy stories prevail it is heartening to hear of success in an area renowned for its friendliness.
