Torque wrenches range from 2.5 to 1,000Nm

The Click-Torque series of torque wrenches from screwdriving tool manufacturer Wera are in stock at Conrad Electronic. The new tool series comprises 16 different wrenches for torques from 2.5 to 1,000Nm. The torque wrenches are available as reversible ratchets with hexagonal and square drive, or with a square receptacle for 9 x 12mm and 14 x 18mm insertion tools.

For the Click-Torque models X1 to X6 as well as the XP series introduced at the beginning of March, there are now a total of 96 insertion tools which ensure the highest possible flexibility.

Depending on the application, users can operate different profiles with just a single torque wrench.

“With these high-quality tools, users from various industries, including manufacturing, mechanical, automotive engineering, and trade, can tighten bolts and nuts with a pre-set torque,” says Jürgen Kreiner, Head of Tools & Work Equipment at Conrad. “As soon as the defined torque value is reached, an audible and tactile mechanism triggers and terminates the screwing process acoustically and haptically. The Click-Torque torque wrenches ensure that the manufacturer's specifications for the respective screw connection are achieved.”

In addition, the Click-Torque torque wrenches offer an extra click that takes effect when the torque value is set. The torque value is set by turning the handle and is displayed on two scales.

On the main scale, the selected Nm or lbf-ft value can be read in the torque range display. The fine scale adjusts the set value in normatively specified intermediate values, with a clear click audible at each value indicated on the scale.

This audible and tactile feedback indicates that the desired value has been reached and the key can be locked. The scale values are clearly visible, so that the setting can be made quickly and with precision.

The torque wrenches are characterised by their modern design and pleasant haptic touch, and enable fitters, service and maintenance personnel to work efficiently and safely.

“With the easy adjustment and locking of the default value as well as the robust design, the new torque wrenches are the ideal tools for all screw connections that require torque-controlled tightening,” says Daniel Waurich, Key Account Manager at Wera.
