A comprehensive series of RS Pro toolkits has been introduced by RS Components to support a wide range of requirements in markets and applications, such as maintenance, machine safety, transportation and utilities, as well as robotics, motion control and industrial IoT projects. The new RS Pro toolkit series includes kits and sets for general electronics applications and kits for maintenance engineers, technicians, mechanics and electricians.
It also includes specialist kits such as those for automotive applications, along with VDE kits for high-voltage electrical applications, as well as sets of precision pliers.
Designed to help enable the reduction of working time and improved efficiency, the application-specific toolkits are designed to be an excellent starting point for engineers or technicians with all the basic tools for a particular industry application, or even as a replacement toolkit for experienced users.
The extensive range of RS Pro kits includes:
The largest kit in the range is the 95-piece automotive kit, which comes in a portable tool chest and includes a very wide range of devices such as hammers, wrench sets, punches, sockets, ratchets, extension bars, pliers, cutters and screwdrivers.
Another example kit is the 36-piece VDE/1000V toolkit for electricians, which has been designed for professional engineers that work on or around electrically live circuits.
Along with devices such as cable strippers and voltage testers, the kit includes VDE-certified screwdrivers and pliers that are individually tested for use up to 1000V AC.
The RS Pro range offers an ever-expanding series of more than 50,000 quality-tested and exceptional-value products engineered for manufacturing and industrial environments, including automation, electronics, tools, test and measurement, lighting and electrical installation.
All RS Pro products are produced to a high industrial-quality standard, undergo rigorous testing in the RS lab, and are backed by the RS Seal of Approval.
The new RS Pro toolkits and toolsets are shipping now in the EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions.
