New ParkerStore opens in Leicester to meet growing demand

The ParkerStore concept has been pioneered by Parker Hannifin, to help key independent distributors expand their business operations, and as a method of getting the company’s extensive range of motion and control products to end users even more quickly and efficiently. While maintaining its manufacturing and distribution of fluid power products and services, Beaumanor Engineering Limited is now becoming increasingly focused on delivering to its customers a wider range of products and services available through the new ParkerStore.

Kevin Leonard, Hydraulic Business Development Manager explained, “As a major stockist of a wide range of manufacturing components in the Leicestershire area, we’ve identified growth in high end product market areas and see the potential to offer enhanced services, which will directly benefit our customers. Parker’s impressive track record with the ParkerStore retail concept gave us the confidence to venture into this new area, augmenting our existing manufacture, supply and delivery business activities.”

As the new Branch Manager at the Beaumanor ParkerStore, Paul Sunner, commented, “We intend to provide a dedicated service offering a wide range of pneumatic, hydraulic, seals and filtration products and components as well as allied services. This will enable our customers in industry, agriculture and local utilities to keep machines and production lines operating. Parker has provided all the technical and product training, helping us design and set up our retail area, with branded point of sale, displays and shop fittings, plus on going marketing and sales support.”

Parker has an extensive network of over 2,600 ParkerStores worldwide, each providing a large retail space where customers can find Parker products and benefit from the technical knowledge of specially trained onsite staff; in turn, these staff can call on specialists from Parker’s global team of experts for additional application or product support.
