An industry showcase page for facilities managers and industrial maintenance engineers has been created by RS Components. The page has been designed to put the spotlight on new innovations, popular product ranges and established technology, all of which have been selected specifically to support the maintenance of large industrial facilities.
Highlights of the showcase include electronics test equipment, hand tools and consumables, electrical test and personal protection equipment. There is also a section dedicated to process control devices, specifically those suited for use in the manufacturing sector.
Over 50 product ranges are showcased, including the latest offerings from leading manufacturers. They include new M27500, M22759 and M81044 cables from TE Connectivity, which are ideally suited for deployment in harsh environments and for high temperature applications due to their high levels of jacketing and insulation.
The page also includes the TBS2000 digital oscilloscope range, which offers a range of channel counts and frequency capabilities. Because of their horizontal and vertical division count they are capable of capturing and displaying significantly more signal than standard oscilloscopes.
The page contains a new introduction of over 200 LEDVANCE LED luminaires, which are ideal for fitting in large industrial and manufacturing premises. They include downlighters, reflector lamps and LED floodlights, which are all designed to combine extended life, more efficient power usage and high-quality illumination.
For test and measurement, the page includes details of advanced modular calibrators from Druck. The units featured incorporate components that provide simultaneous measurement and source capabilities for the set-up, testing and calibration of most types of process instruments, including transmitters, transducers, gauges/indicators and switches, making them ideal for applications in manufacturing environments.
There is also a range of body-worn cameras and accessories from Transcend. Specifically designed for workers employed in public or private security, the cameras provide a recording capability for industrial maintainers who need to take, share and review pictures when they are trying to detect and troubleshoot issues around larger sites.
