For technical innovation and service, Landia have made it through to the shortlist of national finalists at the prestigious 2009 Food Processing Awards to be held in February.
Organised by Food Processing magazine, which for over 75 years has served this now largest processing sector in the UK, next years’ awards are being staged for the 25th occasion.
Landia, also celebrating its 75th anniversary, has been recognised for the true durability and low product-lifetime costs of its high quality pumps, which can tackle virtually any food processing application, from vegetables, dairy products and flotation plant fats, to abattoir waste and fish bones.

In making their recommendations, the Food Processing judges specifically noted Landia’s successful installations during the past 12 months at Kerry Ingredients and at Meadow Foods. It was also recognised that Landia’s pumps and mixers have become much more than just part of the water and waste treatment set-up; they are now key to the actual food process.
