Hygienic Processing and Production

Food safety is an ongoing concern and Rittal has invested significant engineering resources to ensure their enclosures will meet the stringent hygiene requirements in all sectors of the food and processing industry.

Enclosures of all types are required to operate critical processes and Rittal has engineered a range of stainless steel enclosures to help increase productivity whilst, at the same time optimising hygienic protection.

Whether on the plant floor of a bottling facility or in the clean room of a meat processing plant, Rittal’s stainless steel enclosures and human machine interface (HMI) products are perfectly engineered to suit the application.

Constructed with 304 and 316L stainless steel and certified up to IP69K, Rittal’s enclosures are ideal for food and beverage applications where sanitation concerns necessitate frequent wash downs. Compared to conventional enclosures, stainless steel construction and innovative designs can result in higher productivity, greater system availability and improved cleaning capabilities.
