F Gas Training Course available with Fraser Cleaning Technologies
If you are currently using Fluorinated Chemicals EU Directives that became law in July 2009 require you to have a trained member of staff to handle them. Fraser Cleaning Technologies are the UKs nominated Trainer.
Fluorinated Gas Regulations demand that Companies must have a qualified member of staff to deal with recovery of Fluorinated Solvents if they use this group of products in Component Cleaning.
Training takes place on the Company site to provide practical training for this half day course. On completion the trainee receives certification of their qualification to provide full compliance with the Regulations.
These F-gas regulations fall under the Commission Regulation (EC) No 308/2008.
The regulations establish controls on certain fluorinated gases used in refrigeration systems, aerosol propellants, solvent applications and various other applications.
The objective of regulation is to control the use of perfluorocarbon (PFC) and hydrofluorocarbon (HFC) materials and to ensure best working practice.
The regulation will became effective from 4 July 2009.The objective of certification is to ensure best practice in reducing solvent loss to atmosphere during maintenance, providing the added advantages of reducing process costs and providing good health and safety by using a defined solvent management system.
Bookings can be made by contacting Fraser Cleaning Technologies direct.
Jacob Anderson of DEFRA said: 'As long as companies have booked onto a suitable training course before 4 July 2009, there will be a grace period to allow the high number of companies that require certification to be accommodated.
'We are delighted that Fraser Technologies has stepped forward to ensure UK users of these specialised and important chemistries can comply with this legislation,' he added.
As a supplier of fluorinated chemicals for process cleaning, Fraser Cleaning Technologies offers first-hand experience in this field.
Customers can view further information on F-gas regulations via the dedicated website at http://www.defra.gov.uk.
