Europlacer, a designer and manufacturer of comprehensive SMT placement systems for the global electronics industry, appoints Jim Fletcher as a Customer Service Engineer.
In his new role, Fletcher is responsible for office management and day-to-day customer satisfaction. Jim graduated from Florida State University, and earned degrees in both Computer/Electronic Technology and Industrial Management.
“Having worked around the world for several international companies, Jim is adept in project management, and both administrative and technical tasks. He brings a wealth of experience and talent to our North American office,” said John Perrotta, Vice President, Europlacer North America.
Fletcher is a retired Army officer, and has worked with electronics assembly equipment in the United States for more than 10 years. He joins Europlacer from Tyco Electronics, where he readily serviced screen printers, pick-and-place equipment, PCB routers, connector presses, board handling, and many other types of automatic PCB assembly gear.
