More than 30 of Electrolube’s principal staff from across the globe will come together in Beijing, at the company’s state-of-the-art Chinese facility, to identify and develop its global business.
Ron Jakeman, Electrolube’s Managing Director said: “The conference comes at a time when Electrolube is positioning itself for international growth.
“This ‘meeting of minds’ will bring about creativity and new product ideas and progression, and will allow staff to engage in training and discussion of global business issues.
“The annual conference is the opportunity for Electrolube’s key staff from across the world to share success stories and discuss the company’s future. We will welcome Gerald Kingsbury, a member of the company’s founding Kingsbury family. Technical Director, John Humphries will also join us, along with members of the research and development team and top sales and marketing people from the UK, France, Germany, Brazil, USA, China and Australasia. I cannot begin to overstate the importance of bringing together people who can drive the company forward. It will provide a platform to build upon one another’s knowledge and develop future strategy.
“2010 is an exciting time for Electrolube and the H K Wentworth group as a whole. Although the economic climate is still recovering, Electrolube is clearly striving forward; prime example of this is the move of the world headquarters and UK factory to new state-of-the-art buildings.”
The three day conference will conclude with staff enjoying sightseeing tours of China as a thank you for their loyalty towards, and hard work for, the company.
