Electrolube Presents Educational Seminars

Comprehensive seminars and technical presentations will take place in the USA, UK and Holland, each focusing on different aspects of conformal coatings. Electrolube’s experts will be presenting the seminars to audiences within the electronic manufacturing industry, with the first taking place in the USA.

Jade Bridges, Electrolube’s R&D Manager said: “The seminars have been designed to give an in depth technical view on conformal coatings. To kick start this educational campaign, Electrolube will join forces with Restronics at their “Lean and Green Manufacturing Conference” to provide three individual seminars in California. Electrolube will focus on conformal coating and cleaning applications, aiming to assist users in refining their application processes and material choices to achieve more environmentally friendly processes.

The following week will see the first technical paper presentation, which is to be held at the SMTA International Exhibition and Conference in Florida as part of the MFX1 Technical Session on “Conformal Coating for Today’s Electronics”. I will provide a technical presentation on the latest developments in VOC-Free conformal coatings and moisture cure polyurethanes, with particular emphasis on their use in harsh environments.

“Two further seminars are taking place in November, one at the Conformal Coating Application and Inspection Workshop in the UK. Industry expert, Bob Willis is holding a workshop on conformal coatings, covering the various types of coating available, their applications and processes and inspection and control techniques. With an overview on all conformal coating materials, it is a great seminar for those who are new to the process, or those who want to learn more. Electrolube experts will be on hand to answer any questions on the subject or provide assistance for individual applications.

“Finally an International Conformal Coating Workshop is being held in conjunction with other suppliers in the coating industry and is to be held at DIMA Dispense Technology in Holland. Electrolube will be part of the conformal coating expert panel, providing a comprehensive review of all aspects of conformal coating technology, again making this seminar ideal for those who are new to the industry or just wishing to know more. Electrolube experts will again be on hand to answer individual questions and provide information on future trends, particularly environmentally friendly solutions, a subject close to the Electrolube philosophy and portfolio of products which has led to the development of the new NVOC range of conformal coating products.”
