Instrumentation specialist Ashtead Technology will be giving away a Nintendo Wii every day at both Sustainabilitylive! and the Safety & Health Expo during May 2012. However, in order to win the Wii, visitors will have to return to the company’s stand within 60 seconds of being texted and tweeted.
Both events will take place at Birmingham’s NEC and visitors to the Ashtead Technology stands will be given a raffle ticket in exchange for their mobile phone number. A draw will take place at 2.30pm on every day; the winner will be texted and tweeted, and if he or she can return to the stand within 60 seconds, they will win a brand new Nintendo Wii Console with sports package. Ashtead’s Marketing Manager Stewart Curtis says “Anyone arriving after the 60 seconds will be disqualified, as will anyone caught rugby tackling other contenders!”

The Safety & Health Expo runs from 15th to17th May (visit stand C21) and Sustainabilitylive! is 22nd to 24th May (visit stand J51).

The Ashtead Technology stands will also provide visitors with a great opportunity to see a wide range of the latest testing and monitoring technologies. Stewart says “the intention is to provide visitors with an opportunity to ‘have a go’ with some of the latest instruments, because whilst the internet is a wonderful tool - and we have recently radically revamped our website – there is nothing like hands-on experience to really appreciate what an instrument can do.”
