Acculogic’s Manufacturing Test Systems Division, a global leader in electronic test and production solutions, today announced plans to open a new engineering office in the greater Huntsville area.

“The new Acculogic office will be primarily focused on engineering, sales and support functions and is part of our worldwide effort to build engineering centers in locations close to our growing customer base,” said Saeed Taheri, President of Acculogic.

Mr. Vaughan Carlson, a 25+ year veteran of the ATE industry, has joined Acculogic’s management team as the new Southeast Engineering Manager. Carlson commented, “We plan to staff the new office with an experienced team of support and development engineers, as well as a fully equipped testing laboratory. The new office will provide post-sale technical support, application development services for Acculogic systems as well as in-circuit test systems from Agilent (3070) and Teradyne (Spectrum and TestStation)”.

The new office will provide technical support, training and contract services for Acculogic’s large and growing install base of Flying Probe and Boundary Scan systems on the East Coast. The office will be equipped with two flying probes, including the state-of-the art double-sided and multi-probe Flying Scorpion FLS850 as well as Sprint 4510 systems. The local circuit board assembly customers will now have access to the quick-turn board testing services using one of the two Flying Probe systems of the new office.
