Newport Corporation is introducing the XPS-RL, a cost effective, universal motion controller for up to four axes. The new controller is based on Newport’s well-proven XPS platform. The XPS-RL focusses on user friendly operation with a newly designed graphical user interface, single-click stage configuration and TCP/IP auto-detection.

Newport Corporation releases its popular, compact NSA12 actuator with a new controller, the CONEX-PP. The CONEX-NSA12 is a miniature motorized linear actuator with an iPP stepper motor controller. The actuator features a reliable open loop stepper motor that provides 11 mm travel and can be used for loads up to 28 N. It offers a highly economical solution for motorizing mirror mounts, rotation stages, linear stages and other manual motion devices. Due to its compact size, the CONEX-NSA12 is ideal for space limited locations. A vacuum compatible version, the Conex-NSA12V6, is also available.
