sara LBS scissor lifts rise to the challenge

Keeping any warehouse or distribution centre operating smoothly relies on each piece of equipment within the loading / unloading process operating smoothly and reliably. The sara LBS range of scissor lifts has a maximum load of 12 tonnes as standard and can be programmed to integrate with other equipment on-site. This leads to a safer and more productive environment, which in turn increases the profitability of operations.

Scissor lifts are found in many applications where goods need to be transferred between two levels, such as vehicle loading, car parking, work stations, loading bays and disabled access for public buildings. Because of their design they require very little floor space, yet are extremely efficient at lifting heavy weights. This makes them perfect for busy environments where real estate is at a premium.

The sara LBS range of scissor lifts are designed to meet the strictest safety standards and perform reliably and efficiently - even in areas with high workloads. Lifts are constructed from steel as standard and include a number of safety features including a ‘dead-man’ safety switch and safety trip edge; designed to detect any possible obstructions and stop the lift immediately during descent. A selection of platform tops are available including smooth and non-skid designs.

The lifts can be programmed to operate from a number of control options depending on the needs of the applications. This includes a remote power pack and cover which is particularly useful for applications where flooding or hosing down is likely to occur. Because the design is so flexible, sara LBS engineers are able to develop bespoke solutions for its customers including custom platform sizes, ride heights and lifting capacity.

The sara LBS range of lifts are all designed to exceed the BS EN 1570:1998 + A2 2009 safety requirements for lifting tables.
