New lightweight Fluke Electric Pressure Calibrators enable single-handed ‘calibrate and test’ of pressure devices
Fluke has announced new Fluke 719 Electric Pressure Calibrators. These high-performance, lightweight devices feature a built-in electric pressure pump that make it possible to quickly calibrate and test pressure devices with one hand.
Much smaller than other electric pump portable field calibrators, the Fluke 719 weighs just under 1 kilogram and operates on two 9V alkaline batteries. Instead of using two hands - one to pump and one to hold a calibrator - with its built-in, battery powered pump controlled by a thumb button, the Fluke 719 pressure calibrator is more convenient, faster and easier to use. Its ergonomic design was based on input from users and thoroughly field tested.

The electric pump can be programmed to set target pressures or limit pressure to eliminate over pressurisation. A unique cleanout port makes it easier to service the Fluke 719 without sending it for repair and minimises pump failures caused by accidental exposure to contaminating fluids.

Two models are available: the Fluke 719 30G, with a pressure range of -850mbar to 2bar, and the Fluke 719 100G, with a range of -850mbar to 7bar. Precision measurement features of the Fluke 719 pressure calibrator are best-in-class with pressure measurement uncertainty of 0.025%. The device will measure and source mA with 0.015 % accuracy. It can simultaneously measure pressure and source mA to test valves and I/P transducers. The Fluke 719 can also simulate mA signals to troubleshoot 4-20mA control loops.
