New Torque Test Benches Speed Up Lineside Tool Testing

The correct tightening of nuts and bolts is critical in product manufacture or assembly. Incorrect procedures can have major safety implications and can also have significant impact on product quality and lead to recalls. Line side testing of fastener assembly tools is therefore important and Crane Electronics’ latest generation of JRS Opta (Joint Rate Simulator) computer controlled test benches provides the solution for many industries. The JRS Opta has been designed for assembly tool performance testing and this is achieved by accurate and repetitive simulation of the joint.

Special designs of high accuracy flowmeters

Special designs of high accuracy flowmeters
Titan Enterprises are specialist manufacturers of the high accuracy positive displacement flowmeters known as Oval Gear meters, that offer excellent performance in measuring fluids and oils over a wide operating flow range, even in hazardous areas, or in high pressure and temperature conditions. The principle is ideal for hydraulic fluids, engine or lubricating oil, fuels and solvents, and such meters are used for flow measurement and batching in engine test applications, blending systems and chemical plants. Linearities of +/-0.25% and flow ranges of 200:1 are easily achieved with common fluids, over flow ranges from 0.01 L/min to 500 L/min.

Protected column level indicators up to 2000mm long

Protected column level indicators up to 2000mm long
Elesa’s HCL column level indicators are the sort of thing one would use in lengths from 300mm to 2,000mm for oil tanks or other bulk liquid containers. As such, mechanical protection of the sight tube is an important feature - which is provided in the HCL by means of a U shaped aluminium channel running around three sides of the tube and also carrying the easy to read graduated contract scale.
