Hazardous area certification code of practice launched
Some generic working relationship issues between Certification Bodies and Companies designing equipment that required certification services have been made aware to the GAMBICA Flammable Atmospheres Group (FLAG).
Working with members and certification bodies, GAMBICA has announced the release of a code of conduct document that addresses key issues with respect to planning and performance expectations on the parties, within a defined workflow.
A key area in the code is a set of KPIs that focus on timescales for both simple and large projects that will enable better scheduling of company product releases and a relationship between the parties that cultivates a much higher degree of partnership.
