Previously, it would have been necessary to use two separate switches for this purpose, involving not only additional material costs, but also extra control circuitry and monitoring facilities.

New slipping clutches from Geeplus protect against overlead
A new range of slipping clutches from Geeplus are designed to protect clutches and other rotating components against overload in order to limit the maximum torque applied to the primary drive. These devices incorporate a spring mechanism which transmits power without slipping, up to the point where the torque is sufficient to release the spring, at which stage the device slips with constant friction torque.
