Borger’s cost-effective pump solution for small-scale AD plants
To meet the market demand for AD, Börger has produced a skid-mounted pump unit for the front-end of small–scale biogas plants, which elimininates the need for rotary mixing and feed units.
Complete with its own control panel, Börger’s PL200 Rotary Lobe Pump and Macerator with auger-feed is already proving popular at small to medium anaerobic digestion plants, where it significantly reduces capital and operational costs.

Designed with MIP (Maintenance In Place), Börger’s highly durable Rotary Lobe Pumps are very easy to take care of, ensuring an absolute minimum of downtime for AD, wastewater or sludge applications.

Compact, self-priming and valve-less, with speed-proportional flow, this tough ATEX-approved Borger pump range continuously delivers trouble-free pumping for biogas/AD feedstocks, as well as raw, water-activated and thickened sludges.

Life-cycle costs are also drastically reduced by quick and highly convenient replacement of all fluid wetted parts - without the removal of pipes, drives or other components of the pump unit. Helical-screw rotor geometry provides gentle handling of shear-sensitive pumped fluids for optimum results, whilst the pump’s symmetrical design allows the direction of flow to be completely reversible, by simply switching the direction of rotation.
