Featuring Corro-Slick coated 300 series stainless steel rails and contoured WDX Polymer blocks is the FDA/USDA/3A-Diary compliant, Water Dog Sliders from LM76. Water Dog Sliders can be washed down with the most aggressive chemicals and caustic foaming agents and have an operating temperature range of – 400° to 180°F.
Quiet, low maintenance Water Dog Sliders can be used: dry, submerged in liquids, and in refrigerated and frozen environments.
The hard Rc78 Corro-Slick coating applied to the 300 series stainless steel rails is exceptionally corrosion and wear resistant. The coating under a microscope appears as small extremely hard spheres which results in a reduction in the coefficient of friction.
The Corro-Slick coating which becomes an integral part of the rail is not subject to cracking or micro-fractures with deflection of the rails.
Widely used in packaging, food processing, pharmaceutical, bio-pharma, bottling, medical, and dairy industries the smooth WDX Polymer as used in Water Dog Sliders has a very low coefficient of friction, does not absorb fluids, is self-lubricating, is FDA/Caustic Wash Down compliant, and prevents debris from adhere to its surfaces.
Water Dog sliders are available in two sizes. WD1 rail and block assemblies measures just 1.02x1.00” high. Standard off-the-shelf rail lengths are 12, 24, 36 and 48”, and standard stock lengths of 157” are available.
The WD1 blocks are 1.00x0.75x4.00” with two Stainless Steel anchors threaded for 1/4-20 screws. Rails are drilled on 3.15” centres for easy integration into a processing system and are designed for side loads up to 179lbs and vertical compression loads of 89lbs.
WD2 rail and block assemblies measures just 1.57x1.125”. Standard off-the-shelf rail lengths are 12, 24, 36 and 48” and custom length to 122” are available.
The WD2 blocks are 1.50x1.00x5.250” with four Stainless Steel anchors threaded for 1/4-20 screws. Rails are drilled on 3.15” centres and are designed for side loads up to 258lbs and vertical down loads of 178lbs.
