HANNOVER MESSE preparation for the worldwide event

The world’s leading trade fair for industrial technology, HANNOVER MESSE, this year has the leading theme of ‘Integrated Industry – Creating Value’, but is also the global showcase for Industry 4.0 and integrated energy systems.

Taking place in Hannover, the event runs from 24th-28th April, and has exhibitors from all around the world attending, including the UK. The UK presence at the event is an important one for all UK companies, and for the event itself, back in 1947 when HANNOVER MESSE first began it was originally established by the British Military Government, to help boost the post-war German economy.

Deutsche Messe, the company behind the event, said that stand space for UK exhibitors has significantly increased since the event in 2015.

There will be a UK Pavilion at the event run by BFPA, British Fluid Power Association, and large UK exhibitors will include; IMI, Eaton Electrical Systems and Cisco International. Across the five day event there will be a comprehensive display of companies in one place, and forums around Industry 4.0 meeting Industrial Integrations.

To meet customer needs, Deutsche Messe, also organises continental and regional trade fairs under the umbrella HANNOVER MESSE Worldwide. Featuring select topics from HANNOVER MESSE, and providing high-profile platforms for industry in the world’s growth markets. These events take place across the world including the US and India.

‘Made in China 2025’ is China’s initiative to modernise its industry, automation innovation, sustainability and climate protection. Back in November last year, at the Shanghai International Exhibition Centre, visitors discovered how far China had progressed as exhibitors at Deutsche Messe’s industrial trade fairs presented products and services.

Together PTC ASIA (power transmission and fluid technology), CeMAT ASIA (intralogistics and supply chain management), ComVac ASIA (compressed air and vacuum technology) and Industrial Supply ASIA (subcontracting and lightweight design) comprise Asia’s largest industrial event.

China has market access and trade events that also take place in Beijing and Shenzhen also, which focus on Industrial Automation and have product categories in factory and product automation, as well as robotics and machine vision.

Last year the US was Partner Country at HANNOVER MESSE, and President Obama brought the largest American contingent ever to the event. The timing was great for the US market as it had become the bearer of hope for industry.

Deutsche Messe’s five industrial shows in North America, (co-located with IMTS-International Manufacturing Technology Show) in September last year in Chicago, confirmed the renewed interest in the world’s biggest economy.

‘Make in India’ at WIN India was launched originally in 2014, as India’s programme to build a manufacturing industry by attracting in foreign investment, encouraging innovation and supporting workforce development.

India was the Partnering Company back at HANNOVER MESSE 2015, which generated interest from countries worldwide.

The three fairs in India- Industrial Automation, MDA India and CeMAT INDIA, present the products and services that form the core of modern industry; factory and process automation, power transmission and control and fluid technology and intralogistics and supply chain management. It also includes special displays, conferences, training sessions and matchmaking events.

Machinery manufacturing is a key driver of Turkey’s economy. The gateway to industrial sales in Eurasia is WIN EURASIA Automation’s four fairs: Otomasyon Eurasia, Electrotech Eurasia, Hydraulic & Pneumatic Eurasia and CeMAT Eurasia. This allows producers of equipment machinery and technology for industrial automation, energy, fluid power and materials handling to be connected with users from Southern Europe and the Middle East, North Africa and former Soviet republics.

Turkey’s energy demands are expected to generate investments and emphasise government policies using more forms or renewable energy. ICCI (International Energy & Environment Fair and Conference) brings manufacturers, investors, and buyers together.

HANNOVER MESSE is the global hotspot for all these mini events and regional trade fairs, as well as all topics related to digitalisation of production, Industry 4.0 and energy systems, Integrated Energy.
