Mitsubishi Electric E700 Inverter now with Safe Torque Off Input

High Performance Compact VFD now compliant with EN954-1 Cat.3 and IEC60204-1 Stop Category 0 The popular E700 series inverter from Mitsubishi Electric is now available with a safe torque off input, eliminating the need for a redundant contactor in installations seeking compliance with EN954-1 Cat.3 and IEC60204-1 Stop Category 0. The safe torque off version of the E700 is denoted by the characters “SC” after the ampere rating in the model number.

The new model is 6 mm deeper than the existing version across the power range, and is compatible with both connectivity and I/O option cards when utilising kits created for the safe torque off model. The E700’s is compact only in its size – its application versatility makes an excellent choice for both OEMs and end users who have constant or variable torque loads. Motor friendly soft PWM (pulse width modulation) switching, a self diagnostic mode, advanced flux vector control, and a flux optimisation mode designed to save even more energy than a fixed variable torque V/Hz curve are just a few of the standard features.

Mitsubishi Electric has manufactured digital IGBT-based variable speed drives since 1988, ensuring quality and performance in every VSD produced.
