SMAC Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the CAL36, the latest addition to its CA series of high performance and cost-effective electric cylinder. The actuator was initially designed to replace CAMs on a high speed CAM indexer. The CAL36 series has a 36mm diameter, with stroke lengths of 15mm, 25mm and 50mm. The design of a round-centered coil and guide results in no internal moment. Low friction allows the application of very light forces.
