Development contract to design hot and cold contrast therapy

A contract to design and develop the new CombiPod Thermostation from Thesis Technology Products has been awarded to Morgan Innovation & Technology. The latest working prototype of the CombiPod will be exhibited on stand TD15 at the Therapy Expo at the NEC, Birmingham on 23rd-24th November.

The product will offer a simple, safe and effective solution to providing hot and cold contrast therapy, with the added benefit of adjustable compression to the treatment area. This is achieved without complicated heating or cooling systems, and with no need for air compressors.

Morgan IAT has been contracted by the inventor, Thesis to refine the design and development of the CombiPod from patented prototype stage up to CE mark approval and commercialisation. Once the product is approved for sale in the UK, and following trials and feedback, Morgan IAT will begin manufacturing at its factory premises in Hampshire.

Nigel Clark, CEO at Morgan IAT said: “We have done a number of these Technical Files for CE Mark and FDA approvals, so we understand exactly what needs to go into the files and which test houses to approach.”

Ana Mardell, Managing Director of Thesis said: “This is a very exciting project for Thesis Technology and we are delighted to be working with Morgan IAT to help bring our concept to market."
