3Data Expert is DeskArtes’ solution for manufacturing engineers needing to efficiently create and manipulate faceted and surface models for 3D Printing, Rapid Prototyping, Additive Manufacturing, Simulation, and Analysis. While the previous release excelled with the ease of use, the new release will significantly speed up the data processing with various commands. New cutting and modeling tools allow data preparation for the most demanding tasks, including architectural and medical applications. Simultaneously to 3Data Expert DeskArtes is releasing new versions to Dimensions Expert and View Expert software tools.

3Data Expert software converts surface data in IGES, CATIA, Pro/E, STEP and UGS files to solid STL, ZPR, PLY or VRML files. The software also detects and automatically repairs various errors in the STL, ZPR, PLY and VRML.

3Data Expert is part of the DeskArtes Expert Series software product family, which offers wide functionality to speed up the design and manufacturing process in new product development at different levels, from start to finish:

¨ 3D CAD fixing software: 3Data Expert, analysis, faceted repair, manipulation and surface triangulation of 3D models for 3D Printing, Rapid Prototyping and Simulation originating from arbitrary CAD/CAE/CAM systems. Dimensions Expert, basic automatic repair and faceted model splitting for 3D Printing. View Expert, viewing, measuring and communicating 3D CAD files.

¨ 3D design software: Design Expert, easy-to-use free-form 3D CAD modeling and photorealistic rendering.
