A straightforward means of taking safety measurements in workplaces where personnel are at risk from the effects of static or time-varying magnetic fields is provided by the HP-01 magnetometer from Link Microtek. Manufactured by Narda Safety Test Solutions, the device features an extremely wide measurement range of 10µT to 10T, while built-in orthogonally mounted Hall-effect sensors allow the field to be determined with a single measurement in any direction.

Now available from Link Microtek is a new field analyser that has been designed to provide a straightforward means of evaluating sources of low-frequency fields against the requirements of the forthcoming EMF Directive, which comes into force at the beginning of July 2016. Manufactured by Narda Safety Test Solutions, the EHP-50F compact field analyser covers the frequency range from 1Hz to 400kHz, employing powerful FFT analysis techniques to assess the low-frequency fields that occur wherever electrical energy is generated, distributed or used.

DSEI 2015: Liquid scanner meets highest standards
At this year’s DSEI exhibition, Link Microtek unveiled a new liquid explosive detection system (LEDS) that has been rigorously tested by an independent laboratory and approved to the airport security industry’s highest level: ECAC Standard 3. Jointly developed by Link Microtek and technology partner EMISENS, the EMILI 3 liquid scanner is a Type B LEDS as defined by ECAC (European Civil Aviation Conference), which means that it is designed for non-invasive screening of individual, unopened bottles or other containers.
