The IGE+XAO Group announces new advanced functionalities for SEE Electrical V5R1, the Intuitive and Versatile CAD Software for all Electrical Design needs. SEE Electrical is the Group's package dedicated to the medium to low range of Electrical CAD software applications. It has become very popular worldwide, due to its three levels (Basic, Standard and Advanced) and its upgradeability which allows the software to evolve in line with customers requirements.

Despite a difficult economic situation in 2009/2010, marked by significant slowdowns in the electrical equipment and Computer Aided Design (CAD) software markets, the turnover of IGE+XAO was back on the rise in the second half of 2009/2010. Thus, in the 3rd and 4th quarters, growth of 0.8% and 1.3% was respectively achieved. At the same time, the consolidated annual turnover amounted to €21,306,152. The business recovery in the second half of the year was attributable to the Group's customer diversification strategy and good international dynamics.

In a struggling international economic context, with the Computer-Assisted Design market facing substantial drops in business, IGE+XAO posted a turnover of €4,735,624 for the 1st quarter. This figure is slightly down by 1.9% at a constant exchange rate (2.6% at real exchange rate) as compared with the 1st quarter of the previous year, which represented the best quarterly performance in 2008/2009 (+7.1%).

IGE+XAO Group is launching its SEE Electrical software on the US market. Intended for small and medium enterprises, SEE Electrical meets all user requirements among those who design and maintain the electrical part of any kind of installation. Intuitive and ergonomic, SEE Electrical software comes in three versions: Basic, Standard and Advanced.

Three years after the contract was signed with Eurocopter, the IGE+XAO Group announces a very significant contract with Airbus. This new agreement covers the supply of the IGE+XAO Group’s PLM offer (Product Life-cycle Management) dedicated to Electrical Engineering. This software suite named SEE Electrical Harness PLM, encompasses most of the electrical engineering process, from the definition of electrical equipment to the automatic generation of electrical harnesses and wiring diagrams.

The IGE+XAO Group announces the signature of a new partnership with the Australian company Desktop EDA. This Melbourne-based company, created in 1996, is specialized in software packages dedicated to Computer-Aided Design for electronics and mechanical industries. The product range includes, in particular, IDF Modeler, a software package allowing designing three-dimensional (3D) images of Printed Circuit Boards, as well as Elektracad, an electrical plan design package. IDF Modeler can easily exchange data with SolidWorks, Inventor and SolidEdge.
