According to Ovivo, its low-cost, yet long-life Polychem chain & flight sludge collector is proving to be an increasingly popular choice in the UK for rectangular tanks. Lightweight, low-power and easy to install, this non-metallic Ovivo Polychem sludge collection system brings proven and ultra-reliable technology for primary and secondary settlement tanks, as well as storm tanks, DAFs and Lamellas.

With over 7,000 units installed worldwide, the Ovivo Polychem chain & flight system by is a truly proven and cost-efficient Sludge Collector, which can also be utilised for Grit collection, Grit bucket elevators and API separators.

Suitable for all clarifier sizes (installations have included over 90 metres in length and 10 metres wide), the cable system of the Sludge Collector can be used to divide tanks over 20 metres in width. Designed with weight savings, it can also be utilised in stacked and trayed clarifiers.
