Qorvo partner-up to help guide consumers

However in addition, Qorvo has teamed up with publisher John Wiley and Sons, to create ‘The Internet of Things For Dummies^’, a short and easy to understand book that provides the basics of what consumers and hobbyists need to know about the IoT and smart home technologies, in the typical fun and entertaining ‘For Dummies’ style. The series consists of two volumes that are free and available to download on Qorvo’s website.

'Internet of Things For Dummies' and 'Internet of Things Applications For Dummies' will help technical and nontechnical professionals understand the intricacies of the IoT. The content covers the basics of this growing market, the RF challenges behind it and how it’s being implemented. Experts from Qorvo’s wireless connectivity business unit address many of the concerns about IoT technology, including wireless standards, security and successful global deployment.

Volume 1, 'Internet of Things For Dummies', covers:

• Leveraging small data and self-learning in the cloud

Volume 2, 'Internet of Things Applications For Dummies', includes:

• Delivering IoT applications with a smart home butler
• Creating consumer lifestyle systems for the smart home
• Developing IoT applications beyond the smart home

In order to create a smarter home, the company also plans to reveal new RF technology and products that make it much easier for users and consumers to connect their smart home and IoT devices.

Qorvo will be front and centre at the Tech West Pavilion in Sands Expo, the home of the most interesting and cutting edge electronic technologies. It can be found in booth 42114, in halls A-D.

As well as demonstrating a range of these smart home and IoT applications, and making an appearance at CES 2017, where all its latest innovative technologies will be on a show along with its ‘Guide for Dummies’.
