Partnership aims to deliver retrofittable Building Management Solution

A partnership has been announced between Harvard Technology and Matrix, to deliver adaptive technology that enables back-end integration between EyeNut and the Tridium Niagra framework for major blue chip retail clients. EyeNut, the company’s wireless lighting control solution for indoor and outdoor lighting which will be on show on stand B12, Hall 9 at EuroShop 2017 on 5th-9th March was selected as part of a substantial retrofit roll-out for a leading UK retailer into its estate of 3,000 stores.

It will form part of a single Building Energy Management solution which connects air conditioning, heating, ventilation, security systems and lighting.

Harvard Technology’s EyeNut system will be presented in a large interactive demonstration of the ‘Connected Retail’ estate at EuroShop – where attendees will be able to see how the system can be implemented in a large-scale application like a retail estate.

EyeNut is an innovative cloud-based, IoT-enabled, remote access, wireless control solution for indoor and outdoor lighting. It gives users the freedom to commission, configure and completely control their own lighting to maximise energy savings and reduce carbon emissions.

The latest evolution of Harvard Technology’s award winning solution adds new pioneering features, such as emergency testing functionality and Building Energy Management System (BEMS) integration, to a system that has already delivered substantial monetary and energy savings to clients in the retail sector.

Harvard Technology will also launch its latest innovation – EyeNode – at the exhibition. The next generation in intuitive wireless control technology is a game changer in lighting control solutions, allowing EyeNut users to monitor both indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures across multiple buildings and locations from one interface.

Also on display will be the company’s most innovation solution yet, the complete Integrated Area Downlight Module – which delivers a full integration of LED technology including a driver on board, integrated heat sink and plug and play connectors – to provide high performance lighting output, quick assembly and superior lumen output to deliver substantial energy savings for retail estate managers.

The EyeNut Combined Emergency driver is another new introduction for 2017. The next generation in LED driver technology enables automated emergency luminaire testing to be retrofitted into large, multi-site retail estates, with results accessible from anywhere in the world via a cloud connection.

Russell Fletcher, Sales and Marketing Director at Harvard Technology, commented: “We are really excited to be showing our latest innovative solutions at EuroShop 2017. Harvard Technology has proven experience in the retail sector.”

Fletcher continued: “Our latest solutions are responding to the demands of the rapidly changing retail industry, allowing retailers to intelligently monitor and manage lighting across store or indeed multiple stores from one single intuitive user interface, keep track of real time data on energy usage and cost savings, as well as revolutionise communication across their estate.”
