Live demonstration and training rig

The new rig requires only a water supply from either a hose pipe, outside tap or hydrant in order to simulate a leak. The Duofit can then be installed to encapsulate the leak as if it were a live leaking flange, collar, socket spigot joint or compression coupling.

With a portable nature of the new rig means it can be assembled in circa 20 minutes and with the heaviest of components weighing just over 40kg, this can be done manually without the need for mechanical lifting equipment.

Experience gathered in previous training sessions on static training rigs shows that live training of this nature allows engineers to understand and experience the installation process more thoroughly and gives high levels on confidence also.
