By doing so, the company provides its long term expertise in objective haptic quality assessments now as a service offering. The Messrobotic systems available at the MTC cover the entire testing spectrum of haptic and optic function, comfort, backset, as well as stiffness tests, applying the proven and standardized measurement, analysis, and assessment algorithms.
Since the application range of the testing systems is very broad, they can be used in the automotive industry as well as in the domestic appliance and medical equipment industry or within the information technology branch. With the available systems Battenberg ROBOTIC can cover a wide range of quality assessments of the entire product lifecycle in a timely manner – from R&D to pre-series, as endurance tests or during series production.
“We are excited about the opening of our new Messrobotic Testing Center,” said Dipl.-Ing. Günther Battenberg, managing director and owner of the Battenberg ROBOTIC GmbH & Co.KG. “Many customers requested our existing Messrobotic capacities for reference, test, and control sample measurements to cover i. e. shortages or peaks in their own test departments. We can already refer to several successfully completed endurance tests for automotive and tractor components conducted at the MTC and expect a growing use of our new offer by existing and new customers.”
The testing procedures are created in a flow-chart stile using the intuitive, manually guided robot programming of RobFlow. Customers can track the status of their project at any time using a webcam via a secure internet connection. Customers with their own Messrobotic system will receive final testing procedures for further usage. All test results are documented and provided via the automatic report generator according to the customer’s specific requirements (3D visualization on request).
