New single-axis tilt alert switch for cost-effective out of level position indication

Aimed at heavy duty applications, the fully sealed IS-120 has an IP65 rating and is built to withstand the high levels of shock and vibration that may be found in off-road automotive or heavy industrial equipment – but the reliable and low-cost switch is equally suited to lighter duty use.

Existing applications include safe level position monitoring for truck bonnets, robot arms and storage vessel closures where its mercury-free construction suits contamination-safe installation.

The IS-120 operates from a 48 VDC supply with a 0.5 A rated switching current. The compact unit measures approximately 42 x 15 x 28 mm with simple 2-hole mounting and lead wire connection. Its operation temperature range is -40ºC to +125ºC.
