Free Fluke Energy Analysis report and Motor & Drive troubleshooting training
Fluke is offering two free promotions: both are relevant to customers planning to buy the latest Fluke 430 Series II three-phase Power Quality Analyser, and one is relevant to customers planning to purchase a Fluke 190 Series II ScopeMeter. First, via selected distributors, Fluke is offering a free in situ Energy Analysis report along with demonstration of its latest Fluke 430 Series II Power Quality Analyser.
Second, Fluke is offering free Motor and Drive troubleshooting training for intended purchasers of a 430 Series II Power Quality Analyser or a 190 Series II ScopeMeter, to ensure the instrument is used most effectively in maintaining and servicing motors and drives applications.

The Fluke 430 Series II three-phase Power Quality Analyser, with a 1000V CAT III / 600V CAT IV safety rating, is the first tool to use a patented algorithm to measure energy waste and quantify its cost. It helps facilities reduce electrical power consumption and improve the performance and lifespan of electro-mechanical equipment by providing the ROI justification to mitigate power quality distortion.

The handheld 190 Series II ScopeMeter offers a similar 1000V CAT III / 600V CAT IV safety rating and brings an unprecedented combination of performance and ruggedness into the field. Designed for the industrial plant maintenance professional servicing, installing and maintaining heavy duty electrical equipment, electro-mechanical machinery and plant automation control systems, it can be safely used on industrial equipment that is permanently installed on an electrical distribution system.

Previously, only experts could calculate how much energy was being wasted due to power quality issues. With the new, patented Unified Power function of the handheld Fluke 430 Series II, electricians, utility technicians, electrical engineers, field service technicians, and energy consultants can automatically determine how much power is being wasted and calculate exactly what the extra consumption costs. In particular, the Fluke 430 Series II power quality analysers allow facilities to assess the impact of new energy-efficient, electronically-driven systems from lighting to motor controls to HVAC. Both new models, the Fluke 434 and Fluke 435, are fully compliant with the stringent international IEC 61000-4-30 Class-A standard. Each one can monitor systems with up to ten power quality parameters on one screen and can record up to 150 parameters on 4 phases simultaneously, in accordance with the EN50160 standard.

The 435 model includes PowerWave, a “fast capture” system that displays waveforms and half cycle RMS voltage and current values in full detail so motor and generator operators can measure the interaction during switching operations. This allows facility and utility service electricians, electrical contractors, and generator suppliers to easily gather measurements with one tool for load profiling, to prevent motor/drive/load mismatches, and for motor and generator commissioning and start-up testing.

The Fluke 190 Series II ScopeMeters, designed for use in harsh environments, offer a number of powerful and time-saving features for increased productivity. Connect&View triggering offers hands-free operation, providing an immediate, stable display for capturing and displaying complex waveforms for rapid fault finding. The TrendPlot recording function helps uncover long-term trends and shows changes in any of the measurable parameters, like the rise-time of a signal. Frequency Spectrum Analysis using FFT helps to identify individual frequency components contained in a signal. The ScopeRecord function allows waveform recordings to be made over an extended period of up to 48 hours. A 'Replay' function enables the user to take a closer look at any anomaly seen flashing by on the screen, by re-playing the last sequence of 100 screen images.
