Conrad Business Supplies secures distribution rights for new Megger PAT100 series of appliance testers

The portable, battery powered, PAT100 series of appliance testers enables simple, fast safety testing of appliances in all environments including offices, shops and industrial units after DIN VDE 0701-0702. Featuring rubber armoured cases and fitted with hardened, scratch proof ‘gorilla’ glass and a solid protective cover permanently fixed on the housing, the PAT100 series is tough and durable.

The PAT120 allows battery-powered basic testing of the protective conductor resistance, insulation resistance and leakage current in the absence of an AC power supply. Predefined test sequences facilitate the selection of the test sequence allowing the fast identification of test specimens into class I or class II. The available test procedure for extension cables and cable reels allows the fast and easy testing of re-occurring specimens of the same type. In addition, quick pass / fail evaluation accelerates the testing process further.

The PAT150 can also perform protective conductor current and contact current measurements with mains voltage ensuring the safe measuring of test specimen with electronic switches. The PAT150-R provides a built-in battery and additional charger.
