Newly released, both the colour (RGB Bayer) MV1-D1312C-160-CL-12 and the monochrome MV1-D1312-240CL-8 cameras leverage on Photonfocus' A1312 CMOS imager, a 3rd-generation imager optimised to achieve what the manufacturers describe as outstanding sensitivity, quantum efficiency and excellent image quality.
Equipped with all standard features needed for common applications, the cameras output at 1312 x 1082 resolution (colour) and 1248 x 1082 (mono) with up to 108 frames-per-second and 170 frames-per-second respectively. Both feature a high pixel fill factor of greater than 60%.
The sensor of the colour model is equipped with a cover glass which acts as a sharp NIR cut-off filter around 670 nm. As an option, Photonfocus is able to deliver the image sensor to this camera with different cover glass characteristics. There is no cover class on the monochrome model.
The MV1-D1312-240CL-8 is also available with GigE interface.
