During a recent inspection, all the sludge tanks being served by Landia’s mixers were found to be operating without problems - despite them having to handle very thick and heavy sludges containing difficult solids. This includes imported sludge brought in by tankers from other sewage treatment works.
In each case the mixer’s protection cowl that sits behind the impeller (as the hub) was completely clear of any rag build-up.
By continuously mixing the sludge without ragging up, Landia’s mixers help optimise the sludge treatment centre’s process performance and ensure that there is no downtime caused by burnt out motors.
