Glass guarantee created for new components in old systems
A five year glass guarantee is being provided by De Dietrich Process Systems. De Dietrich Process Systems is the company behind the corrosion-resistant systems made of glass-lined steel and borosilicate glass 3.3. Due to their corrosion resistance and easy cleanability, these materials are suitable for universal use in systems for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
They are suited for processing highly corrosive media as mineral acids and halogens such as bromine. Glass systems provide an optimum way of observing the process and thus make process optimisation easier. At the Mainz production site, the world's largest glass columns, with a nominal width of DN1000, and all other QVF glass components are manufactured with a perfect fit.
The safety of the glass components, which are designed in conformance with the pressure vessel directives EN1595 and AD2000, is guaranteed as well as their reliability and durability. The guarantee statement provided with each order for QVF SUPRA-Line glass components is an added advantage that attests to the manufacturing quality of the borosilicate glass 3.3 components manufactured in Germany in compliance with DIN ISO 9001:2008.
New systems can be built with these components and due to the compatibility of the QVF SUPRA-Line, the operational readiness of SCHOTT and QVF glass systems from the previous 60 years is ensured.
