Ignition software support with integration module expanded

The avaliability of a connection module for Inductive Automation’s Ignition SCADA system has been announced by Seeq. The Seeq integration module simplifies integration of Seeq Workbench into Ignition displays and server gateways.

Ignition customers in manufacturing, mining, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and other process industries use Seeq Workbench to rapidly find insights in their data leading to better production outcomes including improved asset availability, product quality, and process efficiency.

“The easier deployment of Seeq and integration into Ignition Vision displays provides tremendous opportunity for Inductive Automation’s system integrator partners,” said David Schmidt, Controls Engineers at Industrial Automation Group, a systems integrator partner of Inductive Automation. “Customers are always seeking more insights, faster, from their data, so this is a win for the vendors, partners, and customers.”

Seeq is a software application for engineers in process manufacturing organisations to rapidly wrangle, investigate, and share insights on production data. Seeq has been recognised by multiple analyst firms for its modern approach to the pressing problem of finding actionable insights in complex data sets.

“We are very pleased to increase our support for Inductive Automation, and look forward to helping our shared customers get even more value from their Ignition SCADA systems,” said Steve Sliwa, CEO and Co-founder of Seeq. “The innovative approach Inductive Automation has taken in building modern industrial software is impressive, and it’s exciting to be a part of their ecosystem of partners."

Ignition is an innovative SCADA platform used in more than 100 countries, and is the first universal industrial application platform with unlimited potential. Ignition empowers industrial organisations around the world and in virtually every industry, with an outstanding software platform and top-notch support.

"We are very happy to have Seeq’s support for the Ignition platform, which we describe as The New SCADA because it redefines SCADA technology and licensing," noted Don Pearson, Chief Strategy Officer for Inductive Automation. "Many attendees at our annual Ignition Community Conference were very pleased with the flexibility and productivity offered by Seeq."

Seeq and the Ignition SCADA platform, working together, form a great combination, enabling customers to get the best of both an innovative monitoring and a data management platform, as well as rapid, interactive analytics on collected data. Customers can achieve insights to improve production results, a task that was often too time consuming.

“This collaboration between Seeq and Inductive Automation will benefit the mutual customers of both organisations because it will make it easier to gain additional real time intelligence from their data,” according to Craig Resnick, Vice President, ARC Advisory Group. “Enabling engineers in industrial organisations to use Seeq to more rapidly leverage the critical information in their Ignition SCADA system provides them the opportunity to make more intelligent decisions faster, resulting in greater positive impact to the customers production and profits.”
