This December saw NewAge Industries welcome several students and teachers from Neil A. Armstrong Middle School, located in Fairless Hills. The students made the trip to NewAge to learn about careers in manufacturing and to film their visit as part of a contest.

Suprene thermoplastic rubber tubing is manufactured by NewAge Industries in the U.S. in two hardnesses – Shore 64A and 80A – and in two grades: FDA and industrial. The tubing’s applications include food and beverage transfer, flavour and additive dispensing, fluid transfer in appliances, chemical lines, pharmaceutical processing, agriculture and lawn equipment, ink transfer, and paint spray systems.

NewAge Industries announces that its signature product, Nylobrade braid-reinforced PVC hose, is manufactured from a PVC compound that is free of DEHP and other plasticizers. The compound also meets California Proposition 65 and helps customers meet regulations involving DEHP and other known cancer-causing chemicals.

NewAge Industries’ Silcon tubing solves application requirements that many other plastic or rubber materials cannot, namely combining temperature usage with flexibility. Tubing manufacturer NewAge Industries recently donated five Dell laptop computers to the Caramanico School in rural Ratanakiri, Cambodia. The school, built in 2006, is located in one of the poorest provinces in Cambodia and teaches students in seventh, eighth, and ninth grades.
