Features of both units include a separation efficiency of >99% conforming to welding fume category ‘W3’ for high alloyed steels, whilst the sound level is around 72bG(A) and they have fully automatic microprocessor controlled de-dusting, using ‘Pulse Control-steering’.This controls the de-dusting operation by automatically adjusting the airflow being used, which can, in turn, be monitored on an easy to read text indicator, whilst the ‘Power-Spray system’ reduces maintenance costs as there are no rotating nozzles and the cleaning pressure is low.
Other features include the ability to install unit and fan separately, units can be installed inside and outside, recirculation of cleaned air back into fabrication shop or in summer months to vent externally using a 2-way branch and filter cartridges with supporting ties to protect the folds from sticking together.
The ZPF 6H units, supplied with 4 suction arms and exhaust ventilation hoods, have a copper baffle plate with a large 150m2, (6 x 25m2 surface area to efficiently pre-separate and disperse large dust particles over the whole filter surface. There are 3 models available ZAPF 6H-5000, ZAPF 6H-6000 and ZAPF 6H-8000 to handle volumetric flows of 5,000m3/hr using a 5.6kW fan, 6,000m3/hr using a 7.5kW fan and 8,000m3/hr using a 11.0kW fan respectively.
The self de-dusting system used in this model provides the optimal de-dusting performance with long cartridge lifetime, high suction performance, user friendly operation and low maintenance of the equipment.
The ZPF 9H is available in 8 different versions to handle volumetric flows ranging from 7,500m3/hr using a 7.5kW 400V. fan to 39,000m3/hr using a 45.0kW, 400V/50Hz fan. Each version has 9 pre-coated filter cartridges to considerably improve the life span of the cartridges.
It is possible to connect several filter modules units in one line.
