Narrow track gauge achieves highest lifting capacity

The SL300 hydraulic gantry has been announced by Enerpac as the latest innovation in the SL series telescoping hydraulic gantries, offering the highest lifting capacity on a 61cm (24”) track gauge in heavy lifting and rigging applications. The SL300 is equipped with two stage lifting cylinders for loads up to 3000kN.

Designed to meet stringent safety requirements, the SL300 complies with the safety standards set by ASME B30.1-2015. At 2705mm retracted height, the SL300 has a lift capacity of 3000kN (four legs), at stage 1 lift capacity is 750kN at 4605mm, and at stage 2 the lift capacity is 500kN at 6700mm maximum height.

To ensure quality performance, each gantry is tested to 125% of capacity at full extension and witness-tested by a qualified, third-party organisation. The SL300 is also CE-compliant.

"Providing a more advanced solution than standard lifting systems, the SL300 Hydraulic Gantry offers industry leading features such as a wireless control system and integrated self-propelled drive system. It’s sized to fit our 61cm (24”) track gauge," said Peter Crisci, Enerpac. "These features, combined with safe, reliable performance, allow our customers to satisfy their complicated lifting applications."

Like all Enerpac gantries, the SL300 has self-contained hydraulics, electronic controls and Intellilift wireless control system. The control systems allow users to operate the lift locally at each leg or use the Intellilift remote control for unobstructed views of the load. The wireless system ensures automatic synchronisation of lifting with accuracy of 25.4mm and automatic synchronisation of travel with accuracy of 15mm.

For enhanced durability, the SL300 offers a sturdy, proven base frame that can withstand a variety of environmental conditions. It can also be equipped with a powered side shift for easy operation.
