GYS Utilise Fan less Computer Server Cooling technology in AC/DC TIG
GYS's year 2012 has seen continued investment in Research and Development culminating in the launch of the TIG 250 AC DC HF which uses advanced cooling technology as used in the computer server industry.
With the elecronics cooled directly by coolant the need for a fan is negated avoiding all the normal issues of dust ingress which would normally be caused by fan cooling. This approach benefits duty cycle with this machine rated at 100% at 250A at 20°C (60% @ 40°C).

In addition to its advanced cooling the TIG 250 AC DC HF is packed with features including Synergic control with an ‘Easy’ or ‘Pro’ mode enabing the user to choose the level of operator input. Control is through a 14.5cm colour screen.

The continued investment in Rearch & Development and the launch of the TIG 250 AC DC HF and other advanced machines marks a significant transition for GYS into the high performance industrial segment, and with the promise of much more to come.

To facilitate this expansion a brand new R&D facility has just been added to the GYS factory in Laval (NW France) which will house up to 100 engineers.
