Having provided Dunns (Long Sutton) Ltd with a new automatic bagging and palletising systems in 2007; Chronos BTH has recently completed a new combined Mixing / FIBC Packing System at their plant in Longs Sutton, Lincs.

Dunns procured some pre-used processing and bagging equipment and Chronos BTH took on responsibility for integrating the packing equipment into their existing packing room.

Two different sized CHRONO-WEIGH™ E55 weighers are utilised to make alternate weighments of premium quality pulses into a common discharge chute onto which a FIBC is fitted. The control for the alternate discharges is achieved by the internationally proven SpeedAC NXT weighing controller, which allows Dunns to achieve mixed pulse blends in ratios up to 8:1 variations.

A second FIBC filling systems utilises a single CHRONO-WEIGH™ E55 weigher operating in a high speed mode.

The combination of these two packing systems ensure that Dunns achieve the optimum packing outputs required to supply their premium quality pulse products for human consumption for both the domestic and export markets.

Chronos BTH Limited incorporates Richard Simon Limited, Verville and Premier Tech Systems for European spares, refurbishments, service, installation and commissioning.
