Coventry based commercial vehicle steering system specialist Pailton Engineering has successfully completed its BSI Stage 2 audit and gained official certification to TS 16949:2009. This is the culmination of a journey over several years, with Stage 1 being successfully completed in April of this year.

Commenting on this achievement, Managing Director Cy Wilkinson said: “I am thrilled and proud to receive this important accreditation which is recognition of the hard work and commitment shown by the entire Pailton team. We shall celebrate this accomplishment and use it as a cornerstone in our policy of continually improving our products, processes and service.”

The Quality Management system ISO/TS 16949 was developed by The IATF (International Automotive Task Force) in partnership with the ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) and recognises the company’s commitment to continuous improvement as well as the prevention of defects and reduction of waste in the manufacturing supply chain.
