ISA 2010 Industrial Automation Safety and Security Symposium to be Held in New Orleans, LA in April

The International Society of Automation announced that the 2010 Industrial Automation Safety and Security Symposium, sponsored by the ISA Safety Division, will take place 28-29 April 2010 at the Astor Crowne Plaza in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. This year's symposium will focus on threats—including cyber security threats—to industrial environments and the steps engineers must consider when designing and optimizing industrial processes and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS).

ISA100.12 to Address Convergence Process with WirelessHART at Orlando Meeting

The ISA100 standards committee, Wireless Systems for Automation, will hold a series of meetings at the Rosen Centre in Orlando, Florida, 9-11 February.
