Phidgets adds the 1063 Bipolar Stepper Controller

Phidgets has released the 1063 – PhidgetStepper Bipolar 1-Motor Controller. The 1063 controls the position, velocity and acceleration of one bipolar stepper motor. It allows the very precise positioning of stepper motors; it can handle larger industrial stepper motors and is also suitable for applications that require a lot of torque.

The board also includes 4 digital inputs which can be used to convey the state of push buttons, limit switches, relays, logic levels and so on.

The 1063 is a great complement to the 1062 PhidgetStepper Unipolar 4-Motor controller. It is especially well suited to applications that demand very accurate positioning says Chester Fitchett, CEO of Phidgets.
